My Best Tips to Make Your Skin Look Younger
The right and wrong ways to cleanse,moisture & exfoliate your skin
I am sure this formation will help you out in making your skin look good.
To keep your face looking fresh,you need to properly cleanse,exfoliate and moisturize your skin while never leaving the house without at least 30 SPF sunscreen.I am putting basic Skincare Regimen,"which i have mentioned in this article.
But before we move on,its necessary to have a look that what type of skin you have:oily,normal/combination,dry,sensitive or sun-damaged.Find out what type of skin you have.So,now i hope u will follow these steps accordingly.
1:Cleansing
Simple you need to find a good cleanser that your skin responds well to,and keep using it:See the best cleansers for your skin type.
You can find a good cleanser at the cosmetics store.Avoid bar soaps as they dry out your skin.Soap should only be used only ever touch yours skin from the neck down.Choose creamy cleanser if you have dry skin or a clear cleanser if u have oily skin.
Be careful not to use cleanser too often,you risk over cleansing,they had bad signs.You really only need to wash your face at night to remove makeup and sunscreen if applied which can clog pores.If u have dry skin,consider cold cream like Ponds, and others..Simple aaply cream,then wipe off,no water needed.Most women prefer the water method:Use warm water to loosen dirt and clogged pores.Use some quantity of cleanser,then rinse with cool or lukewarm water.
In the morning,lukewarm water is all you need.Never wash your face with hot or cold water(both can cause broken capillaries).
2:Exfoliate
Exfoliation is the step that mostly people skip in their skincare routine.But believe me,if you start properly exfoliating your skin,you will notice an immediate difference.One of the main reason for men's skin looks more youthful than women's is because men tend to exfoliate daily when they shave.
I use a facial scrub weekly to exfoliate my skin,but I also find using a washcloth when I cleanse my skin works just as well.I simply put a dab of cleanser on a damp washcloth and massage the cleanser into my skin in a circular motion.After a quick rinse,any sign of dead skin is erased.You can also exfoliate skin via microdermabrasion,chemical peels and retinoids.In my article,How to Exfoliate,I shared all my tips and tricks to proper exfoliation.
Scrubs
Work by removing the top layer of dead skin cells that tend to dull your complexion.We find exfoliating skin once a week with a microdermabrasion kit keeps skin glowing year-round.Make sure you use a gentle scrub with tiny grains.Big grains in cheap scrubs can tear skin and cause more harm than good.My favorite microdermabrasion kit is made by Lancome.
Retinoids (such as Retin-A or the more moisturizing Renova)also work by removing the top layer of dead skin cells while also generating collagen in the skin."Collagen is the skin's structural fiber,"dermatologist Dennis Gross said in O Magazine."As we get older,it breaks down,creating line and large pores."Skin care experts disagree on all sorts of things,but most of them consider retinoids to be a miracle skin saver.
Should you use a toner?
Toners are meant to remove all remaining oil,makeup and dirt,but a good cleanser should do this.I firmly believe its up to you.If you like your way skin feels with a toner.Buy it.Use it and enjoy it.
Moisturize
While I know of the most famous beauty editor who swore skin doesnt need moisturizer,basically everyone else i have read disagree and is an adamant believer in it.A basic rule of beauty is that if you have dry skin,you should invest in a basic moisturizer.So much should you moisturize?Your skin will tell you.When your skin is tight,its crying out for moisture.Be careful not to over moisturize,this can clog pores.
Apply sunscreens(Sunblock)
The cause of wrinkles is sun damage,so its important to use a sunscreen of at atleast 30 SPF from your early years on even in winter and on cloudy days.U should buy two moisturizers:One for night and one for day that includes UV protection.Dont use moisturizers with sunscreen at night,the ingredients are not meant to be used 27/7 and can aggravate skin.When choosing a sunscreen,make sure it contains mexoryl or helioplex.

How to Apply Mascara
Well,one question i get a alot from people is what mascara I use.I have small eyes and thats why i refuse to leave the house without mascara because the moment mascara is applied my eyes suddenly appear to be of normal size.You dont have to worry,just see my list of best mascaras.
Here i will share my best tips and trick about mascara plus how to apply in proper direction.
How to properly Apply Mascara
1;Wiggle the wand left to right at the base of lashes.Its the mascara placed near the roots,this gives the illusion of length.
2:Pull the wand up and through lashes,wiggling as you go.This part is key because it separates lashes.
3:In this final step,close the eye and place the mascara wand on top of lashes at the base pull through to remove any clumps.
Pick the Best Mascara For You
When u pick a mascara,you should consider the formula you want(lengthening,thickening,waterproof or non-clumping).U can learn more about your options in How to Pick the Right Mascara Formula.
How to keep Lashes From Clumping
For some,lash combs are simply too fussy. But for some people they are great invention and keep lashes glob-free and perfectly seperated.To use a lash comb,firstly apply mascara at the lash base,then wiggle the lash comb through to the tips of your lashes.
Not into the lash comb?Get rid of clumbs without them by removing excess mascara from the wand.Wipe wand on tissue,this eliminates blobs Before you start.
Another great way to get rid of clumbs is to sweep a clean,fresh mascara wand through lashes when they are wet.Either u buy new ones or recycle old ones.Clean Mascara wands.
Recycle an old mascara wand if you dont want to bother with spoolies.When you finish a mascara,clean the wand in a cup full of eye makeup remover,then wash with soap and dry.Keep it clean by washing it whenever you wash your makeup tools.
Dont Be Afraid to Mix Mascara
A trick makeup artists use to make lashes pop is apply one coat of lengthening mascara,followed by one coat of thickening mascara.Remove excess product with a clean spoolie want.
Try Colored Mascara
Basic mascara rules are simple.Black works for everyone but can be harsh on light-skinned blondes.Blondes should change to brown/black by day and reserve black for night.Burgundy or plum colors make blue eyes pop,as do blue mascaras.Purple mascara looks great on brown eyes.
Use an Eyelash Curler
Curling lashes gives eyes the apperance of being wider and brighter.Shoot warm air from your blowdryer on the mascara curler for 3-5 seconds to warm it up before curling lashes.Touch it first to make sure its not too hot.Its necessary that you have to curl lashes before you apply mascara.You can curl lashes after mascara application,just make sure the mascara is dry first.Popular eyelash curlers
Zig-zag the Mascara Wand
Zig-zagging the wand back and forth during application helps cut down clumps.
Apply to Top Lashes Only
Many recommend applying mascara only to the top lashes.If u want to make your eyes look wider,apply mascara to the bottom lashes but make sure you give lashes a light touch.Not great at getting those bottom lashes?Try put tissue under them before application.
Use a Mascara Primer
Use primer coat lashes and seperate them before you apply mascara.Im sure u will like primer but its an added step,i usually say use should use primer on special occasion when u spend more time on makeup.
What Does it Means to Apply a 2nd Coat of Mascara
To apply 2nd Coat of Mascara means all at once before the first coat dries.Once the first coat dries,you will get clumps if you attempt another swipe at the lashes.
Wait to Blink and Doublecheck Once Dry
Since if u have long lashes,try to wait 5 seconds before blinking after I apply mascara or I end up with mascara dots all along my lid.Also check lids before step out because chances are good,those dots going on and its embarrasing to find out hours later that you have done a poor makeup job on yourself when you are beauty editor by trade.
